I am excited to announce the final production schedule for my book, “Ninety Years of Classic San Diego Tiki.” Thanks to all who have pre-ordered and made this possible! Extra interviews and research have pushed my original deadlines back, but I think it will be worth it.
The book will be ready just in time for my symposium at Tiki Oasis 2019 San Diego! More details on that forthcoming... This schedule has a bit of padding included to account for possible delays due to the current Chinese tariff “situation.” I want to assure all, any increases on tariffs will not increase the amount you have pledged.
Final Production Schedule
- 1 Jun 2019 - Layout finalization, proofing and color correction.
- 17 Jun 2019 - Art to printer, printing, transport, customs clearing, delivery to San Diego by August 1st.
- 1 Aug 2019 - Book Release! Shipping to Kickstarter backers and Shopify customers.
- 9 Aug 2019 - 10:30am-12noon, symposium, Ninety Years of Classic San Diego Tiki at Tiki Oasis San Diego. For those attending, you can pick up your copy at the book signing that weekend. Just let me know if you'd still like it shipped, or if you want to pick up at TikiO.
